With a short look at the south-east part of the nautical charts you will notice the most interesting DivingArea is directly in front of the Base Station, a short distance with the bus and a short distance to walk where you can comfortably enter the water from the pontoon.
The Sea around Lanzarote is a Nature Reserve,consequently harpooning is forbidden,which is a garantie for an healthy fish stock around our island.
Lanzarote is 846 sq km the smallest island in the canary’s with a gripping underwater world,and our dives develop a fascination, for example you can swim on a reef edge in 30m and look 20m deeper.
In all Diving venues there is hardly any current and we drive to area’s with protection from waves to garantie save entry in the water.
All Diving area’s offer diving profile for beginners and for the advanced divers possibility’s of depths of 40m maximum( We stay naturaly always in the Null Time !)
Divide the island in four parts, you can see there is always a posibility for a wind shadow no matter where the wind comes from.
The Diving Area’s are diverse,and the landscape changing.We also drive further venues and connect it with a round trip. That means two dives and a pleasant meal in a small typical island restaurant under way.

Many creatures have found the short distance from the African coast to reefs of Lanzarote (100km) and successfuly grow and prosper,for instance, Tree-and black coral in twentyfive meters astounen.
In the month May to October arrive Mantas and Moonfish near the
Coast. Angelshark and Skate Give berth to thier young in these waters,
and it’s possible with luck to see various High sea Sharks.

The South East
Playa de los Pocillos:
This Diving Area is made for beginner and Schnorchler with 9 meters depth, easy entry from the beach. Very nice cliffs with under water growth and many fish. From May to June it’s a favourit place for Skate in all sizes.
Cruz Rojo (Red Cross):
Easy entry from beach ,
Diving depth to 40 meter. Tube eels, at 17 meters discover a genial Rock formation and at 35 meters a nice grotto with Tree-and black coral.
La Seta:Entry from beach, Diving Depth till 40 Meters. Nice Drop Off, With plant growth Club-Crustaion Anemonen. At 37 Meters stands a mushroom shape Rock formation. Often Mantas are sighted here.
Puerto Viejo (Old Harbour):
Here is three different diving Areas: El Hoyo, Los Barcos Hundidos, y Fariones. The entry is easy over a pebble beach,Diving depth till 40 Meters. In shallow water 15Meters is a Grottos, Cracks and Crevice’s and also Bizzar Rock formations which can be visited by Beginners, and Drop Offs for the more advanced diver.And where it’s deep, there are Big Fish!
Playa Chica: Entry down stairs to a sea wall, ideal for beginners,Depth 10 to 40 Meters. Sand bottom with small reefs and much life in all Depths.In roughly 22 Meters awaits you a large Grouper, at 26 Meters you can visit a small wreck and afterwards Grottos, with the Drop Off you stand a good chance to see hunting fish swarm (Bonitos, Bernstone mackrel etc...) sadly the area is strongly frequented, therefore we are not there to often. Fish come before Divers, or?!
The North East
Entering and leaving the water by ladder for beginners is best only with optimal weather, Depths up to 40 Meters. Bizzare Rock formations with Grottos, tunnels and crevices. Step formation Sand areas where angelsharks like to hide, and Drop Offs with 20 Meters Sight.

The North West
More difficult ascent and descent,Diving Depth 26 Meters, Diving only possible with south wind. Not many knows this Diving place. The reef is not typical, large growth of braun algen, rare sea spiders ( large crabs) moving around with no worry’s same as the shy Sea Bass and the sea wreck. Sadly it depends on the weather already with half meter waves it is impossible to ascend.
